On Friday, we went shopping and did putt putt golf at Old McDonald. Hunter had to roll the ball up quite a few of the holes. Riley got bored with it after a few holes, but still hit the ball on each course. Tavin did great! He even got a few hole in ones!
Saturday, Adam, Adam's dad, and I took the kids to WonderWorks. Hunter wasn't very thrilled with it because he was afraid the house was going to fall in on him. But once we got inside, he LOVED all the different exhibits.
The first thing we got to do was Tavin and Riley climbed the rock wall. Hunter wanted to also, but he was 3 lbs too small.
Next was the Space exhibit.
They all wanted to lay on the bed of nails.
The best part was the bubbles though. Even pop pop joined in the fun.
That night we went and panned for gems. Our friend Michelle happened to be down in Gatlinburg too, so she met up with us.
Sunday, we took Kim and Phil to Parrot Mountain. We have been a few times, but they have never been there before. We got to touch and feed some of the birds there. Some of the birds thought kid fingers looked like bird seed.
Afterwards, we went to lunch where a very nice guy made the kids balloon animals.
Tavin's orange dinosaur
Riley's pink and purple butterfly
Hunter's blue monkey
The kids went to the go cart track and rode some rides.
(the faces of determination!)
Hunter got a seat belt burn from crashing on the go carts
We had Easter dinner together.
And finally, Adam and I got to go out for a little bit.
